"Challenge for Charity" - PES Takes the Positive Impact of Corporate Teambuilding to the Community

All of the economists and talking heads seem to agree that we are currently in the midst of an economic decline. To what extent is debatable; however what we know for certain is that many non-profits and charities are truly having a challenging year in the current economic environment.

Premium Event Services is proud to have developed and successfully implemented a teambuilding exercise that has benefited several charities as well as created the necessary morale boost after a corporate restructuring. With corporate downsizing and realignment becoming more of the norm rather than the exception, we have been tasked to create teambuilding exercises that create both goodwill among new co-workers and a benefit to local charities. In the last quarter alone, our recent efforts have led to thousands of dollars of brand new toy donations to the Southeast Michigan U.S. Marines Toys for Tots program as well as thousands of dollars of goods and supplies donated to the Ronald McDonald Houses of the Twin Cities, MN and Ann Arbor, MI. Going forward, we are extremely optimistic about additional charities that we hope to positively impact in 2009.

The most important element of our “Challenge for Charity” teambuilding concept is that it can be applied to any industry and just about any charity. As a client, you have the ability to select the charity of your choice as well as your budget for donation and PES will handle the rest. We will work with your charity to determine what their specific needs are, which often range from new clothing, new toys, food, supplies, newborn baby items or books and educational materials. All items are purchased new, incorporated into the teambuilding exercises and subsequently donated to your charity.

The next time your group meets, why not meet with a community conscious and have fun as well!

We encourage you to visit one of your favorite charities to see how you can make a difference or some that we have already helped:
